    Apple A1398 2015 - Audio problem

    Hi there.

I've got an Apple Macbook pro 15" Late 2015 with a strange audio problem.

The Left speaker work fine, the right speaker have muffled sound (it's seems only the bass work). If i ear the music the sounds it's good, but if i balance the sound left i ear very clean, if i balance right the sound it's bass and muffled.

I change the speaker, but not solved. I replaced amplifier, codec and i check all the passive filter. Problem not solved.

I've the some trouble with another 15", A1707 late 2016.

    Anyone have an idea?

    Thanks for your help.

What does the speaker / headphone icon report? Often, the fault can be with the headphone mechanical jack which may require a good cleaning.

Do headphones work? If unable to hear sound out of the speaker and headphones then review the audio codec which is responsible to convert the digital audio stream to audio which is then amplified by the amplifier and the output will be the speakers.
