Lenovo T15 gen 1 secure boot

    Hello,

I have a Lenovo T15 gen 1 where I can't get the secure boot disabled. I think it is related to the security chip. The BIOS is completely free, no password or anything. The only problem is that the option to disable secure boot is grayed out. Trying to boot it, GRUB 2.02 starts and expects a certain Software. If you want to change something you need to enter a username and password. While experimenting, I was able to load the firmware from the hard drive. There I found signed files, in one also the hashed password (cracking probably not possible in lifetime). It was probably a workstation secured with SINA, which the seller did not tell me... I didn't know that you can protect a system so that you can't even install a new system if the BIOS doesn't have a lock in it.

Is it possible to disable secure boot anyway? As I said in the BIOS I tried everything...

Hi, I have a few of these & they came with a custom bios boot logo, no passwords etc.

2 x were brand new unused but with custom boot logo, 1 I installed Windows/ran updates then it bricked itself. 1 wouldn't get past the custom bios boot logo.

The third I loaded windows, took a backup of the bios chip, then tried to flash several different clean bios's via programmer which all caused it to not boot. I tried to reflash the original bios both using clip & desoldering but...

Need help for HP ProBook 445R G6 Secure boot key removal from BIOS dump
              by ktcar214
              Hello.
I tried to add a custom secure boot key (for secure booting Linux) to my bios, but after this, my laptop bricked. After adding secure boot key (via PowerShell) and enabling secure boot my laptop turns on, shows HP logo, and after 5 seconds it turns off and on, and it repeats forever.

My goal is to either turn off secure boot or remove my custom key from BIOS dump.

I'll attach my bios dump (version R79_011700) from my bios chip 25b127dsig, my keys (PK/KEK/db), and bios dump from another HP ProBook 445R G6(I found it on this forum. URL: https://www.ba...

              Lenovo L13 Yoga Gen 2 won't boot
              by Paulaziz
My Lenovo L13 Gen 2 was working perfectly until two days a when it refused to boot after previous used.

When I press the power button, the power led will lit and goes off immediately with the CPU fan concomitantly spinning for few seconds and then stop.

The reset button did not help to resolve the issue. I have also performed hard reset by:

              1. Disconnected the battery
              2. Unplug the adapter
              3. Hold down the power button for 15sec. Then increased to 30sec, 45sec and finally to 1m.
              4. Then plug the adapter.

              Is it corrupt bios?...
