Usually there are resistor networks related to the keys on Mobo side. Unfortunately no clear picture of the bkard shared, but worth to check I guess, before messing with the EC.

check connector solder joints. measure in diode mode, if the connector pads are connected with ec and look for abnormal values. maybe the ec is faulty

        hope schematic helps

            "Displaced" is a good call.

This has to be sorted of course. So we have a NOT mentioned repair attempt in this area. I teally want to ask the thread starter how we should troubleshoot that without asking the crystal ball?

Full history of the device please!

Hello everyone and thank you for your work. I will preface this by saying that I am a bit ignorant with technical terms and component abbreviations, I have done some micro soldering but I am not an expert.
I have a problem with my mainboard Msi Ge75 MS-16P51 VER 2.0 , some keys on the keyboard "F1, R, F, C, backspace 8, 9, 0 delete", don't work, I have already replaced the keyboard but I have the same problem.
The defect occurred after replacing the display.
              I have already downloaded MS-16P5(0B).cad and MSI GP63 LEOPARD 8RE MS-16P5_MS-17C5 Rev 0A pdf.
              Can anyone...

test on diode mode. red on ground and black on pins

              10 pin oL
              12 ol
              19 OL
              20 OL
              22 OL
              23 OL
              24 OL

all other pins are 0.600 - 0.900 on diode mode

              so what to do now?
Do you think it is an EC problem?

              Lenovo Legion 15IMH05 keyboard problem

              Hello, I have lenovo legion 5 15imh05 (board: nm-c911) and I have a problem with a keyboard.
When I hold power button for ~30 seconds or unplug RTC battery keyboard will work only one time. After laptop reset or shutdown, keyboard won't work.
In 90% cases when I unplug power supply and turn on laptop on a battery, keyboard works even after plugging power supply - I can't turn on laptop with a power supply and get keyboard working.
Shortcuts Fn + F1-F12 are working. Keyboard is fine.
I replaced IT8176FN-56A and reprogram it with a dump from previous chip and it worked for...
