    Dell Lattitude E7440 Run Slow

    dell lattitude e7440 i7 4th gen running slow even after replace SSD and upgrade RAM....any ideas how to troubleshoot slow performance issue?

        well same issue, top case removes insulation from mainboard 1 cm right from that screw and shorts line H_PROCHOT#
        just apply kapton tape

          Hello!
          I run a dell rugged extreme as my main computer, and have linux installed. All is well! However, after plugging in a friends power adapter to test it (it turned out to be broken), my USB-C port has stopped working. This isn't the end of the world, since I can still charge with a good old-fashoned 19V barrel power, but I'd like to fix it.

          The port shows up to the operating system, but does not provide power to devices plugged into it, nor can it receive power. I have tried cleaning it.

          My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

          Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

          My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
          The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
