Re: Help me . Macbook pro 2019

Not a great message to see.

Can you provide more details? When installing MacOS you receive this message? Or does the unit restart/crash when formatting SSD in disk utility? Any history on the unit? Any signs of liquid (mushy/sticky keys) or drop? If this is a dropped device, it could get super not-fun.

Macbook Pro 2019 A2141 NAND Shorted
      by tech_guru
Hello. If you could please help me understand what I am doing wrong...

This model, Macbook Pro 2019 16" A2141, 512GB, EMC 3347, with T2 Security Chip, had 4 NAND Chips shorted in 1 wing (U9100, U9200, U9300, U9400) and it has 1 more in the 2nd wing (U8600) BUT NOT shorted. All chips are TSB4227 TOSHIBA-KIOXIA SN4192TWNA12014 BGA110 128GB. I got 4 new nand chips for 1 wing and programmed them by specific position of course with JCID P13 programmer.

I also replaced the tps power ic for the ssd.
Now all rails come up, including the ssd rails 0.9v, 1.8v, 2.5v....

      i9 32GB Ram 1TB

Hi, I found short on one of 6 black nand (total 1TB).
i removed all 6 nand ( voltages all ok) and now i want to program with JC P15 but for A1990 2019 there is only 512GB configuration.
I try A2141 1TB configurazion with TSB4228 but the position on pcb is different ( U9300 and U9400 is no stuff on A1990 but present on A2141 and U8800 and U8900 is no stuff on A2141 but present on A1990 )
macbook with A2141 configuration run on recovery but don't complete it.
      anyone can help me?

      820-01521-A (MacBook Air A1932 2019) stuck on 5V
      by mferna14
Hi all dear friend., today I am working on 820-01521-A logic board (MacBook Air A1932 2019) stuck on 5V .19 milliamps. The history of this logic board was liquid spill on major components. First gave a good cleanup & both CD3215C00Z were getting very hot, so I replaced both. Now on the 12V coil, there is only 5v present & 3.3V is perfect. In some area like PPVIN_G3H_P3V3G3HRTC , PPBUS_G3H_TPAD etc., 12V is perfect. On the 5v coil .2 volts only. I checked the enable signal on the regulator chip, enable is NOT present. The logic board is very clean, I do not see any signs of spill anymore....

MacBook Pro 16" 2019 NAND Swap
      by Karmet
I couldn't find a post related to this, so if it exists please point me in that direction.

I have a 2019 MacBook Pro 16" 1TB with a dead embedded NAND. I've seen some information about how it is possible to swap NANDS from certain boards, but it has to be a matching set.

I have a MacBook Pro 2017 logic board 820-00923-A 1TB on hand that is new in the box. It should be possible to match up the NAND 0, 1, 2, 3 chips and transplant them onto this 2019 board... in theory. Has anyone approached this, or has success in doing this?
