Lenovo Thinkpad E570 - BIOS ACPI ?

Hello to all ,

In a similar thread, that i posted i thought it was the problem from BIOS. So maybe it's not the BIOS?

Laptop that is working just fine, even 6 hours diagnostic tool with RAM test (tried different RAM, tried different HDD/ SSD, swapped BIOS Battery CMOS ,tried brand new install of Windows 7 / 8 / 10 / 11 , but every time the same error once it tried to boot from USB ,it said "ACPI BIOS ERROR".

I tried and installed just fine Linux Ubuntu , and the laptop worked like a charm.

So my question is ,where should i keep in my mind, what to do next ?

(Already tried the reset default settings,disable UEFI with Legacy support etc).

Hellow, check if your UEFI and EC fw versions match. Update or rollback BIOS.

For ThinkPad, Lenovo usually provides BIOS update in ISO format. You can make bootable USB out of it and update BIOS independent of the OS. Usually both main and EC will be updated. Try that first.

Already tried it.
It asks for battery which is dead / non recoverable.

-sp ? you mean , to burn the .iso and boot from USB ,and then to put the end argument -sp ?

Similar thing was in the Dell , if i remember correctly with /forceit ?

Doesn't allow me to do any kind of argument change.

But there is no "DOS Support" for the .exe files, to create a bootable not even with rufus etc.

Seem that they changed something, i own one of that machines, so i'll try to find a way tonight.

So, I'd figured that out. Download windows package, install it. Navigate to folder that contains "winuptp.exe", run powershell console from that folder and type in:
.\winuptp.exe -sp

Now agree with whatever it will ask and proceed.

But in order to do that, and run powershell i should have windows installed.But the laptop doesn't boot into windows.
I can only boot to freedos (rufus) or linux.
Nothing else

is there any other way to install BIOS Update, for this particular laptop ?

P.S : Windows 10 , cannot be installed.

Only Linux.

Select the bootable ISO image -> apply this onto a USB media stick using Rufus or similar.

There is no battery installed/exist on the laptop as i have written.
So the bios update cannot happen.

New behaviour.

It cuts off .

Now as soon as you try to boot from USB windows 10 , it shuts off like power cut.

Any ideas;
