In MB1111 pin 5 is ground right? I'm getting 0v and continuity to ground so it seems to line up?

Yes, looks correct. Concern is for the low voltage readings of the I2C track pad lines.

Remove the esd diode you have near this connector and measure the voltage readings again. Test again without the esd protection array.

        Mine is 60nb0ag0-mb1112

I traced continuity from pin5 to this chip:
Well i'm an idiot. We know now that pin5 is ground (not pin4) so I traced a ground to a ground on a mosfet that potentially has nothing to do with the trackpad?

Basically, anything to do with the trackpad in boardview is missing on this mainboard, both sides of the board, leading to the embedded controller.

i've put that little mosfet back on, but the voltages did not change.

The touchpad is really x555uj, not x555l? Same problem. The x555l is not i2c.

ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI - BIOS Help
              by grimacelord
              Hello,

I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.

I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.

The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.

Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website...

ASUS TUF X570-PLUS doesn't power on: no VRM_EN signal.
              by ShadowAi
Hello, I have an issue with the motherboard. Specifically, it doesn't power on, more precisely, the POST initialization doesn't occur.

Let me start from the beginning, the motherboard suddenly stopped working one day. There are no beep signals from the speaker, and the debug LEDs are not lighting up. After inspecting it under a microscope and using thermal imaging, I didn't find anything that could be damaged.

After that, I began voltage measurements, in which I noticed the absence of VDDQ, VDDP, VTT, and VPP lines. Later, I checked if there is an EN state on these lines,...
