1) every USB connector is not working ?
2) confirm Vbus (+5v) is present
3) if every connector is not working - check the BIOS to check if the port is enabled
4) Remove all power. Meter in DIODE mode.
Red meter probe to GROUND.
Black meter to USB D+ pin. Reading ?
Black meter to USB D- pin. Reading ?
Repeat for each USB port. Post all measurements. -

I've got a little "problem child": my Dell Latitude 7420 2-in-1, which had a faulty mainboard.
I replaced it, but ever since, the touchscreen no longer works — and honestly, I’m running out of ideas…
In Windows Device Manager, I just see an I2C HID Device with error code 10. Sporadically, the touchscreen is recognized correctly for just a few seconds, but I haven’t been able to determine under which circumstances this happens.
The touchscreen also doesn’t work in UEFI/BIOS, although it’s enabled... -
Forgive me this is my first request for help on this forum, so if i've screwed up or not followed the rules i should have i apologise profusely.
I have a Dell Latitude 5570 that was randomly shutting down, on further investigation i found that the machine had been shutting down due to thermal events as noted by windows event viewer.
My investigations lead me to the dell diagnostics screen, where i found that there were two sensors out of range which had been causing the shutdowns, one of which was the GPU thermal sensor and the other the ambient sensor.
