    ThinkPad T470 NM-A931 TPM dont recognize

    Hi All,

    I got two T470 with faulty TPM

    All work fine,except wake up from sleep.
    Its not possible to start-up from sleep mode(open a lid by sleep active),got beeps error 0285

    /There is no such option in Bios - Security Chip
    /In Windows TPM not recognize
    /Lenovo TPM Firmware Utility cant find a TPM(TPM Manufact. Unknow,Ver. 0.0)

    If I correct understand,TPM is U39 Chip,ST33HTPH2E32
    Its possble to swap it from spare Motherboard?

    I have set a Supervisor pass and remove it with Util. from this forum - still nothing.


    Maybe someone have expierence with such issue,please advice me..

          Thanks for quick reply.

          Can I use blank,new,chip?Just the spare board come from unknow source and can be with password/defective
