Chip ID 2N 3D R2P Asus X556

[mullspeed]

The board exhibits no power, but draws 200mA. The input MOSFETs are fine but the above device gets hot and I note that 3.3V is only 0.6V.

There is a short on the R2P IC, as a cap is showing short in circuit and is fine out of it, whilst the short is still present.

I assume it's some sort of regulator but I cannot work it out and without a SCH I'm a bit lost.

Post a picture of the IC. If its 2N= its a richtek part
