Hello,

I just wanna know can macbook pro A1398 15" 2015 use LCD from macbook pro 13" 2015?
because i bought macbook pro A1398 15" with no backlight...hopefully i can test wether this is lcd problem or logic board problem.

hello, a customer brought me this laptop, a1398 2015, and the lcd shows horizontal lines and sometimes the image crashes. I tried with another lcd cable but no luck, with another lcd assembly it works fine. Anyone knows if this could be repaired? Or at least if anyone can tell me what it is. Is it from the lcd flexes, is it from pressure? It does not have any dents on the screen or liquid damage. I have seen similar lines in a a1502 before and it was also lcd problem.

Macbook Pro 2015 (A1398) 820-00138-A doesn’t wake up when using macOS

Hello everyone !
I have an A1398 Macbook Pro (820-00138-A) that can't wake up from sleep, but only in macOS (tested with Monterey). Strangely, it does wakeup when using Windows 11. What could cause this issue? A sensor? Thank you!
