Apple MacBook Pro 2016 Retina A1707 - A Big Mess

    Hi everyone.

I have an annoying problem with a Mac Book Pro retina 2016. Card Model 820-00281-A.

I had damaged the flat cable that connects the touchpad to the motherboard. nothing serious except that I connected the damaged flat to try if it worked. Unfortunately, in addition to not working (obviously) the J4501 connector went up in smoke.

The Mac now turns on but the touchpad does not work (obvious), the keyboard does not work too and the fans run at maximum speed.

I had to remove J4501 because it was melt and some pins were bent.
After that I start measure some point :

I checked were pins 25 and 27 burn PP3V3_S4_TPAD but no short , and resistance to GND is 653 ohm.
No short even in pins 21-23PP5v_S4_TPAD_CONN , where resistance to GND is 365 ohm.

I found some issues ( I think at least) in PP3V3_SUS related resistors:
Many of these got strange values :

    R1420 : it should be 10K , but I measure 8.25K
    R1461: it should be 10K , but I measure 6.40K
    R1515: it should be 100K , but I measure 46.5K
    R1525: it should be 100K , but I measure 80.1K

I'm sure about these resistance value aren't good but I dont understand why.
After that , following the schematics I found capacitors C1700 , C8500 and many others shorted to ground. They are all related to PP1V0_SUS.line

Now , not beeing a pro but I need the help of someone who can understand this values.

I attached schematics and Boardview files.

    TY in advance!

    UPDATE

    Silly situation

I have resoldered brand new J4501 connector and now the machine works perfectly.
I never thought that without the Touchpad connection the mainboard gives that kind of issue.

    Thank you anyway!

Good to see you were able to resolve this. It sounded pretty bad initially. There are temperature sensors in many areas of the computer including the trackpad and the keyboard. When the computer doesn't see the sensors, it assumes all has failed and ramps the fans up full to prevent what it thinks will be an over-heating issue.
