    Using repair guides - guidelines

    Hello guys,

for two laptops I'm interested to have it repaired I couldn't find schematics and board view software, but I could find so called repair guide.
    I have attached one example.

    For example: 21. D0301 VDDQ PWRGD 562
I guess this is the variable name from schematics, but I'm nt sure what the number at the end represents (in this case 562).
How exactly this repair guide could help me narrow to the cause of the problem?
This repair guide should contain data in normal working conditions or something else?

I appologize if the question sounds dumb, but I have no experience in using repair guides.

    Thank you in advance.

Should be diode mode measurements on a good board. Repair guide just tells you some key points of the power sequence and roughly where to measure them (of course you need the boardview as well to precisely get the correct pad). They don't provide a lot of information but since most schematics are not available it's still a nice thing to have.

This is exactly information I was looking for.
      Thank you very much!
