After removing PR302, PG is still 1.3v. But after comparing it with another working board (1040 g1), the 1.3v seems to be okay......
so you conform that MB 1040 G1 working Bord 5V regulator IC PG is 1.3V ?
is the 3/5 Regulator the same ? NB679AGD-Z?
after PL31 you have 6Caps check all of them most of the time PC200 cause fault

there is a way of by pass this only for test putting a jumper from pin 11 to 3 of PU16 PU24 pin5 to 13 or if you have DC regulate apply PG 1V 3A & see what are the SMD getting heat

      MB 1040 G1 uses TPS51285A while MB 1040 G3 uses NB679AGD-Z

      PG for 1040 G1 from TPS51285A on Pin 7 = 3.36v

      while

      PG for 1040 G3 from NB679AGD-Z on Pin 3 = 1.3v

Connection between Pin 3 of PU16 and Pin 5 of PU13

        Pin 3 [PU16] ---> PR302 ---> PR67 ---> PR77 ---> Pin 5 [PU13]

Pin 7 of TPS51285A [PG] connects through some resistors (not identified yet) to Pin 5 of U3701 [LM393]

          At Pin 7 of TPS51285A = 3.36v

          At Pin 5 of U3701 [LM393] = 1.3v

because G1 is TPS51285A & G3 is NB679AGD-Z different IC different platform this i quit normal

                Pin 3 = 4.9v [DRVON_EN]

                Pin 7 = 1.05v
                Pin 8 = 1.50v
PWM is present but 0.53V its low for this IC it should be around 2V back up OLD bin flash BIOS, what is the voltage on PU11 pin 2 ?

Any work involving BIOS programming might be hard for me now because the programmer within my reach isn't capable of recent generations PC and 16mb files......

But would find a way out though......

Can water damage lead to a corrupt BIOS?

                      Currently,

                      PU22
                      Pin 2 = 0.47v

                      PU11
                      Pin 2 = 0.47
