Acer E1-532 LA-9532P wont work without charged battery

Hello.
HAve this Acer E1-532 LA-9532P that wont work without charged battery. if battery and power removed and attach power, forst two mosfet not work. if attach discharged battery its the same story.
when i short first mosfet for second with attached battery everything work, like when i connect charged battery

its the third laptop with same symptoms. have somebody clue why it behave like this?

charger ic is BQ24735

check resistor of first mosfet if they are ok and what voltage they have.

post voltage on : pq302, pq303, pr303, pq304, pq305

measure volts with charger only, and with battery and charger .

measure volts with charger only, and with battery and charger .

WITHOUT BATTERY:

pq302: 123-short pulses up to 5V
4 - short pulses up to 5V
5678 - 19.5V

pq303: 123 - short pulses up to 5V
4 - short pulses up to 5V
5678 - 2.5V with short pulses to 5V

pr303: 2.5V with short pulses to 5V

pq304: 5 - 2.5V with short pulses to 5V
4 - 2.5V with short pulses to 5V
123 - 2.5V

pq305 - same as pq304


WITH CHARGED BATTERY:

pq302: 123- 20V
4 - 26V
5678 - 20V

pq303: 123 - 20V
4 - 26.6V
5678 - 20V

pr303: 20V both side

pq304: 5 - 20V
4 - 16.8V
123 - 16.8V

pq305 - 123- 16.76V
4- - 21V
5 - 20V

remove pr303 and measure pq302 with charger only.

then remove also pq303 and check pq303 voltage with charger only.

battery nominal voltage ?

Without PR303 all works normal even without battery

with all works normal what do you mean ? pq302 volt is 19 , 5 and 19 output ?

is so put back pr303, remove pq304 and post result

edit: before removing pq304, read voltage pins. then remove and read again voltage pins of pq304

without it have same measures like without battery

without pr303 i have 20V on its pad

i write not perfect. without pr303 and without battery u have 20volt on pr303 first pad?

if so put back pr303 and remove pq304. stil l20 volt on pr303 charger only ?

without battery and pr303 i have 20V on its pad

that lead to me to a bad pq305.... (if u put back all component except pq305) and u have volts on pr303.

without pq305 try powering on the laptop. it should work without battery.

pq305 cannot be bad when normally charging

monitor pu301 pin 11 voltage with psu only, with low charge battery and with full battery

now for me it is looks like battery must be attached, but not flat dischaged. i discharged battery, leave it out for a day and when i attach charger it work normally

it should work without battery. ive read the datasheet of BQ24735RGRR and on first picture on #1 post we have:

vcc in is 19 volt, , so pd302 works.
acdet is 2.65 volt.... it's in range between 2.4 and 3.15 volt so it is ok as vin+ [r2/ (r1+r2) ] = 19.7*[64.9/(422+64.9)]= 2.62...
acok 0volt, so something is not happy with the carger circuit
acdrv should be over 6 volt..... i suppose it to be 8-9 volt.

would be curious why without battery and withour pr303 mosfet are turned on. i would like to inspect with that, pu301 voltagepin without battery and withour pr303 ?. also maybe ec need to be reprogrammed ?

acok is generated by VLP i would also inspect with this.... some value is not happy here

about vlp, check r494 and r495.... pu301 is told to set ac on with: +3vlp when on battery and +3valws with ac only.

check also r24 and r236 (0805 0m resistor near ec.)

with psu only check if 3.3 rail is working

edit: is rtc battery fully charged ?
