in my experience i encounter this kind of problem last year. when may costumer programmed the laptop with master password in the hard drive... i reset the laptop to its original bios but not the hard drive.. most of the hard drive today also has this bios..and you can also create a password on it..problem is when you forgot the password your hard drive is bricked..
maybe you can use a password cracker tool that will imitate you in putting password in it but with lightning speed and hope for the best...

Sir it is not briked but need a master password i already opened 80gb toshiba hdd.but donot have kind of.

there's a lot of tutorial in youtube how to reset the master password,, problem is none of those thing works

Hello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.
My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).
Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set.... -
