DELL 5567 short +3alw at ground at CPU site

Hello. my DELL 5567 short +3alw at ground at CPU site. < 0.1 ohm.

giving 3v 10A cpu chip give out hot.

is this mean replace with new board since cpu price almost the same with whole board?
and it is not easy to replace / put back the cpu

Even if the cpu was good, you killed it by putting 3V there. Never put anything above 1.0V

He means "cpu SIDE" instead of "site" and +3valw, not +3alw
He gave 3v to +3valw, he didn't kill cpu from that.
Cpu doesn't get 3v, so strange it gets hot.

I cannot proceed to further error correction.

PCH die not CPU die.

On latest board,most times when 3v alw coil get short,there is 85% chances that your PCH is gone and since it is a Soc board then both PCH and CPU is gone.

Consider replacing mobo.

The PCH is the one getting hot, since it is a Soc board, CPU will get hot we well.
