    LA-6582P (Acer laptop) no touchpad

    Hi guys!

I have this board on an Acer laptop.

When I boot via usb into Ubuntu 16.10, it doesn't show the icon pointer.

I've tried with two different touchpad flats and two different elantech pad, but nothing.

Anyone can help me in solving this?

    Thanks!

Most probably it's a software that enables you the touchpad.

Try run sudo get-apt update and see if it works.

Also see if you have drivers installed in xorg. cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep -i synaptics

Unfortunately the issue shows up even on Windows 7/10 usb installer pages, so I believe it's something mb related!
