Yes. The schematic i have is hard to follow for this model laptop. What is creating that +5VA0? The 19v is supposed to split off and create the 5v rail but what is causing the fault in the circuit? I have 19v from start to where tge 5v should be created at the circled area in picture.

Hi guys, i have two boards n501jw identical, both have it8585vg chip dead. After replacing, i get white light on power led and red light on keyboard but that's it. It stays black, and turn immediately on after powering off.

I have nice and healthy 5 and 3.3, aslo ~1.4v on RAM, but nothing on cpu and gpu coils and only about 2v on battery output. Also no charging light even after connecting the batt.

Any ideas? Dead bios?
