    HP Touchsmart 310 DA0NZ2MB6F0 No Boot

    Hello all,

    I have this computer HP touchsmart 310 with DA0NZ2MB6F0 motherboard. The issue is that it turns on but doesn't do much else. No HP logo on screen, no backlight, no hard drive activity (it turns on), no nothing. Hard drive spins up but does not do much besides spin. No signs of life besides everything going on. I tried resetting with the power button and also tried clearing the CMOS. Anyone have any other advice as to what the issue here could be? I appreciate it, thanks.

          disassemble Touchsmart Remove Ram, CPU put back it again,Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Reconnect power and try starting the Mob again. If not take Voltage mesurent on the big Gray coils they start from PL13/14 ect try the Schematic

              Techtiger that was the fix! Thank you. I originally had a missing power rail but after repairing this nothing was happening.

              Can you explain to me why this was the fix? What does this method of reset do exactly?

                  as stated in the title, my surface 7 pro wont boot anymore.
                  When i press the power button it shows the square windows logo for a second and immediately turtns off again.
                  I dont even have a chance to get into bios or boot from usb.
                  While trying to find help online it was suggested to look for help/repair here on badcaps and it might be a ME Region corruption in bios.

                  Hello, hoping someone can help me with this.

                  I've had this laptop for about 3 years. Lenovo-Ideapad-700-15ISK-i5-6300HQ

                  a few months ago I've started experiencing this issue where I'd press the power button, everything would start up,
                  keyboard lit up, fans start spinning etc., but the screen remained black. I would then power off the machine by holding the power button for a couple seconds, and try again. It would boot up normally after the third or fourth attempt. . maybe a corrupt BIOS problem ?

                  Hello ,
                  The issue with this set is that it turn on just fine and after a minute or so the picture shows either vertical lines or turns half black and from that point on starts a boot loop.
                  If a let the unit to cool down for a minute the same pattern starts again. i had exactly the same mainboard as a spare and replaced it but nothing changed.

                  Any ideas what to check?...

                  NVME: 500GB NVME drive (brand new, installed Windows 10 onto it for testing purposes and tested on another laptop (a dell XPS) works perfectly fine and boots in)

                  I bought this laptop recently from eBay as a faulty device....
