    Sony Vaio VPCEB3E4E (PCG-71311m) problem after BIOS flash

    Hi,

    I have Sony Vaio VPCEB3E4E (PCG-71311m) with locked BIOS, after flashing BIOS dump from Badcaps forum , laptop turns on normal, I have image on screen, can enter bios... but after 20-30 sec fan goes full speed and laptop shuts down..

    Can someone help me or point me what to do ?!

      The BIOS might not be suitable to your board if you search for BIOS dump using Laptop model number. Same laptop can have either Board from different OEM manufactures or can have different revisions of same board. Always search for BIOS using board part number [ including revision ] and always make a backup of old BIOS first before flashing

        Thnx, I did search by board number and revision and found on Badcaps forum (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=40400) post #2.. when that did not work I took bios dump from post #7 but same problem..

        I do have original BIOS and KB files saved...
