Usb x2 ports not working hp g5 250

Hello,

I have 2 usb ports with no 5v power, if i plug an external powered usb hub it works ok and power is restored to both ports all be it temporarily & the pc recognises the device attached, so i presume data is ok just no 5v power.

There is a third usb port on a small separate board on the other side of the laptop thats works fine.

Does anyone know what componenent may be causing the issue, and if possible what should i replace that may be the culprit ??

if its 3.0 there is ic behind them. if 2.0 there is also ic but mut not be behind them

Check the other side of the Board U51 it is for 5v USB
And messure if is shorted to ground

Many thanks, i have flipped the board & found U51 the component itself is marked K1126, could this be the faulty item ?, i have a donor board so i could swap the parts if you think maybe this is the culprit !

Any idea what DM2 is ? (photo encl) it is marked i think H9M ?

I send schematic check and search (US2) you will find maybe same usb ic.Not same schematic hp board.This schematic acer board
