Bdl50 la-d704p rev 4.00 question
Can anyone identify the component circled in red, from a REV4.00 board, i have searched for a schematic, but unable to locate one, removed blown component but board still not powering up.... -

Here's an odd thing, i disconnected the ribbon cable to the other single usb port on the right hand side of the laptop today (this has always worked ok) & (see photo enc) & to my surprise the 2 x left usb ports sprung back to life...does this still mean "US1" ic as previously mentioned is still faulty please, when i plug the right side back in the 2 left ports go dead again..it's an odd thing going on, hope somebody can advice before i commence to replace components......Last edited by frankkrantz; 02-11-2020, 11:03 AM. -

Unable to find a datasheet at the moment, no referance to K1126, maybe someone knows it as another component name i cant find any info at all on this ic ..thanksLeave a comment:

Hi,
Both usb ports have stopped working.
Does anyone know what component may require replacement from looking at the enclosed photo, i have noticed if i plug a 5v supply usb lead into any of the 2 ports they both work again, (maybe that helps to diagnose the issue).

Does anyone know what this component is please, i canot find a data sheet/schematic for it at all..
I think it may be power supply to usb 5v.

Many thanks, i have flipped the board & found U51 the component itself is marked K1126, could this be the faulty item ?, i have a donor board so i could swap the parts if you think maybe this is the culprit !
Any idea what DM2 is ? (photo encl) it is marked i think H9M ?

Usb x2 ports not working hp g5 250
Hello,
I have 2 usb ports with no 5v power, if i plug an external powered usb hub it works ok and power is restored to both ports all be it temporarily & the pc recognises the device attached, so i presume data is ok just no 5v power.
There is a third usb port on a small separate board on the other side of the laptop thats works fine.
Does anyone know what componenent may be causing the issue, and if possible what should i replace that may be the culprit ??
