    Funny Who did this in Russia?

    Good day.

    Got a laptop in today. The client were in Russia for some time and had a laptop in for repairs... They got it working for a short time eventually quoted the client a new board....

    See the photo for what I found inside.... It was an easy repair so no idea why they tried the shit you see in the photo... Anyways just sharing random shit I see everyday.

    ghetto fix,
    pretty common if your in a place with no parts source other than slow mail order.

    you do what you have to do to get the shit running with what's on hand.

      Yeah its not bad, nothing really that bad about it but still even with those parts you can try and make it look waaay better...

        no, most of the shit i'v seen is soldering-related.
        mostly involving what i suspect is plumbing solder - big piles of burned flux around parts.

            Sometime I also need to do this kind of stuff to get machine work when I don't get same part in market or in scrap.

              Yeh, we all do this kind of repairs sometimes when spares are not avalable or will take long time to arrive but the finish could have been much better.

                Haha that's not bad its much cleaner than the fix I posted from some other guy...

                But its a tiny bit worrying those thin wires for a (what looks to be a) high Current rail. :P Then again as long as it works

                @mcplslg123
                Indeed yeah I can admit I have done those as-well...
