Battery draining even when Laptop is kept Shut down

    Battery draining even when Laptop is kept Shut down

    I have this HP laptop which drains battery on its own even when laptop is kept in shut down state. If you leave the laptop for 2-3 days its drains out completely.
    We have replaced the battery a few times and the problem is same.
    What could be the reason?
