    HP G62-b19SL , always lights up .

    Motherboard :
    pm_a_hpc_s mv_mb_v1
    * P / N: 01013TM00-600-G

    Defect :
By inserting the power connector without pressing the power button, the power indicator lights up and the fan runs for a few seconds, then stops, after about 20 minutes the fan continues to run at a higher speed. The power indicator always stays on. Keeping the power button pressed, the power indicator turns off and then on again, the display remains black.
    * Even without the power button (physically removed from the motherboard), the defect remains. Absorption 800 milliamps constant.
We accept suggestions and scheme. Thank you and good job to everybody .

LG 55EA970V OLED / black screen
      by pedrolane
      Hi

I've found lot of help here with already answered questions, but it seems I'm in a different case.

My LG 55EA970V OLED screen from 2013 was working well and stopped suddenly while in use, with black screen / no more audio. This model is quite unusual here in europe, so I didn't manage to find someone to help (tv shops etc).

I've already checked the following :
      • power supply out voltage is fine at 3.5v 12v and 24v pins on the main P202 connector (picture attached)
      • when powered on by remote I can hear the relay "click",

Christmas lights - Something I am doing wrong
      by Francesc V.
      Hi:

i am trying to repair this Christmas lights from my parents. They are incandescent lights, no led lights.

I have tried with 12V a 24V small lights that I found in Aliexpress but is obvious that are not the right ones. They last microseconds connected. Do they blow because of Amps or Volts?

If I measure the Amps in the string........it's only 90mA. If I measure the Volts in the "green box"......it's between 0 and 190V, but doing a little bit of maths from the number of bulbs in series.......it's only about 6V per lamp.

      Could...

IMAC A1418 / MB: 820-00430-a / does not turn on, Lights 3 of the 4 LEDs and turns off.
      by gabrielA7
Does not turn on, lights 3 of the 4 LEDs and turns off and stays like this, presses the power and repeats.
I saw that the room LED lights up only when the screen is connected, so quiet.

We have all the power supplies, even processor, 1.8V
One thing I found strange, it has a very low resistance in the Vcore is giving 1 Ohm , work with notes and such, I know that this is normal in some processors but with this resistance only take video card so found it strange.

I suspect that there may be some leak in the processor.
Anyway, when I press the power, it...

When your mom is complaining about her new cheap lights
      by evilkitty
My Mom bought some cheap motion sensor lights on wish... then complains about about batteries and this thing chews though them, well it uses 4 AAA batteries and a pack of rechargeable ones is about 13 USD

well since it uses 4 AAA and rechargeable are 1.2v and non-recharge at 1.5 this thing must work with 4.8-6v, I'll shove a USB cable on it, infant i will use a broken phone charge cable... dam this thing uses 430 mA and they made it battery powered...

lets ignore the fact that i thought the board fit both ways... and the wire color is reversed going to the board...
