is DIS-to-UMA conversion gone?

Dear technicians,

I heard from a technician that all DIS laptops made after 2014 are designed and will be designed in a way that have single GPU (either DIS or UMA, not both) and can not be converted from DIS to UMA anymore. is this true?

I don't think, I have converted an asus x555l from dis to uma (5° gen cpu)
