    toshiba c660d-1en

    hi there i got this off of gumtree it has a power on password cant access bios settings or boot without password, i have looked for the normal jumper pads under memory and tried cmos battery out for over a day and still has password.. any ideas please

        Definitely no jumpers under near the memory slots ? Can you take a photo ?

                If u have a eprom programmer remove the bios chip bkup and upload.

                    if the bios had been updated at some point would i find a file on the hard drive anywhere that could show password if that makes sense !

                          hi thanks for the info.....does it mean put a solder bridge across pads as it says about 10k res on 10/26 to pull high? "Reserve PJ29 and add R1159 pull high on 10/26" fed with 3v or have a read it wrong ??

                                How did you actually get it work. I soldered pj29 but still asking the same password. I dont have resistor, and as I understood it just adds password clear feature to bios. How to use that feature even then?
