    hp dv6-3138 processor is heating

    hey guy
i am having laptop hp dv6-3138tx core i 3 first gen cpu.
the cpu is getting much hotter over 75c degree. i had put thermal pest, cleaned fan. but problem remains same. is there any to make cpu cooler or the intel processor it self is the problem. or the board has problem.

i had also replace with other i3 processor but problem remains same.

please guy help if any one has any idea. and sorry for my bad english.

it hould have cpu and gpu together. try see what is getting hot, if processor itself or gpu.
if it's cpu look at it's mosfet and see if they are hot too. maybe they are passing much more current that cpu need. it could also be a heatpipe failure. when it's on 75° check if u have wery hot airflow outside of fan. if heatpipe is hot too then it works as it should. if u have hot cpu and cold air flow then it's broken.

a good heatpipe test is to dip the radiator end in a cup of boiling water - if the cpu pad does not burn your fingers in seconds the pipe has leaked out
