after a reflow it gave me a display but only externally. i tried different screens and i have 18v and 3.3 volt on some of the pins of the lcd cable on the lcd connector side, any ideas what i should check for or this is just a bad reflow and i should try it again..?

i think you need to stress the GPU with external screen and see if it fails.
if not then its another thing aside GPU.Just cook it! It's already broken. -

Issue resolved!!!
So the problem was that some idiot tried to make this computer LED when it was originally was LCD, so i had another computer just like it and thats how i found out it was LCD, so i slapped the lcd cable and screen and Voila!!working!!

I have a Sony VAIO SVE1512E1E (motherboard da0hk5mb) video card is broken, has artifacts, I want to disable it, the processor is an I3-3110M that supposedly has an integrated Intel GPU and I want to disable the onboard Radeon so that can be used.
I download some schematics, and tried to remove VPL1, but then the laptop starts some leds, and shut off. Should I try to lift VPL1 and VPR47 and pass a cable to one tip of VPR47 and the other back to VPU1 to see if that works or it is pointless?

Buenas mi nombre es carlos me uni al foro porque estoy buscando el schematic de una sony vaio pcg-41217u otras formas de escribirlo son 1p-0117j01-a012 mbx-237 numero de placa revision 1.2 o Sony VPCSB (MBX-237), en fin me gustaria y ayudaria un monton si alguien me puede dar dichi svhematic para hacer las mediciones de una laptop de la mencionada anteriormente(Sony VAIO PCG-41217U) con el fin de repararla dejo de funcionar solo prende el led de la bateria al pulsar el boton de power el disco empiesa a hacer ruido de actividad pero los leds del frontas no reflejan acividad y no enciende la pantalla....
