Asus K43U short

hi..i receive motherboard asus k43u, burn mofet .. i already remove burn mofet (PQ303) but the motherboard have short at coil PL303 leg 2 ..i remove PQ304, PC303, PR301, PR302 and last i remove PU301 but short still there.. Anybody pls advise. tq

Something on 3.3 rail is shorted. Use lab PSU to find out what.

thank you for reply..already inject 2.9v at PL303 leg 2, but heat no show up...what maximum volt i can use ?

If you have short on a rail, then 2.9V is enough, it should be pulled low if limit amps.
How many amps are drawn?
KB930 or LAN card are the likely to be first ones to be shorted.

Lan chip (U49) also burn.. remove but short still there..

If pq303 was shorted then you got 19V to 3.3V rail, most of this stuff is likely dead. Meaning chipset, ec, wifi, bios chip etc...
