    HP 15t-i100 processor problem

    HP 15t-i100 processor problem
    - first time was a bad capacitor and a mosfet from power , now the board is running but restart, or no image, i notice that the coil from processor is very very hot , and bad image on display , see photo

the mosfet that i change from power was AON6414A , i replace that with something compatible.

How many V does it pass on those coils?
Just cook it! It's already broken.

Your laptop is running on Intel® Core™ i7-4700MQ Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.40 GHz) with Intel® HD Graphics 4600 which is enabled by default at boot time, that's the reason of no power supply on Nvidia graphics.

If you stop the bios at POST with "break/pause" key and you still have bad image, then you should try with another cpu to see if it makes any difference. I guess Intel graphics is damaged.

are not 1.77V too high for main processor power?

what was the end for this story.
                i have similar situation.
after changing shorted PCH with new one notebook started working but the same with CPU power phases, haves the same high voltage and very hot.
maybe i need to change phase controller TPS51631.

1.7v is too high...i would replace inductor , mosfets and cpu pwm....also pay attention on cpu pwm feedback resistors...Also try different cpu before doing anything...
