Re: acer v5-132 power light blinking
4 and 5 ohm on VCC_CORE is normal when the processor is on the board.
What is the current drawn from PSU before pressing power button and what is the current drawn from PSU (lab power supply) after pressing power button.Comment

Re: acer v5-132 power light blinking
You do not measure it on board. You need to check how much current is drawn from your power supply. You can use a multimeter (important set it to 10 or more Amps (not mA)) but you need to cut the wire of the power supply cable.Comment

theres 19.5v with a 2amp current drawover usb c charging
I have tried a new bios and cleaned me region but no change in behaviour.
I have noticed that the Mosfet PU4403 gets quite hot 60 degrees, but cannot find a short on it or surround components also pu4401 which is the BQ charging chip is also quite hot 60 degrees.
Have removed BQ and checked pads but no shorts.
Also on PU4405 PIN 2-4 is suppose to be 19v as per schematic 19V_dcbatout...09-12-2023, 05:32 PM -
