    acer one D271 totally dead

    hello guys,
I'm having a hard time repairing this unit, upon checking the board, I found out that PQ38 FET is getting hot. I tried to replace it and still the same. and testing the PQ38 off board don't have any shorted pin. I continue to check and found these Capacitor are shorted to ground both side. PC87, PC88, PC99, PC19, PC20 in page 29 (charger section) I removed them all and check one by one and found out no one is shorted checking off board. I also tried to remove the coil PL3 and PL4 (page 30) one by one to isolate if the problem is in the rail line of 5V and 3.3V but still the same problem. and also when I plug the power adapter I don't get any volts in PL6 and PD7 (page 29) but PQ38 is getting really hot.

I hope someone can help me and give me some advice.

    Thank You.

"Capacitor are shorted to ground both side. PC87, PC88, PC99, PC19, PC20 in page 29 (charger section)"

only one side is shorted, otherside is just connected to ground

u can removing coils on vin rail to check where is short, or u can use PSU to see where is the short
