  • Hello, thanks also
In my case I have made some progress in the diagnosis and I have ended up detecting that the problem seems to be in the power button circuit, but not in the button board itself, I have been able to rule this out.

If I press the button for just a moment, it turns on and almost always ends up turning off.

If I keep it pressed longer, it starts and when Windows is already starting, if you stop pressing the button, it doesn't turn off.

Later in Windows, having enabled in power options, what Windows should do if the power button is pressed,...

  • Hi, I have the same problem
Were you able to solve it?

In my case it happened after changing the keyboard
Everything was going well until I was installing the HP Keys software to make the function keys work and suddenly it started to suspend, as if I pressed the sleep or power button momentarily or closed the screen cover

The power button is fine, the lid sensor must also be fine, because if I put a magnet in the sensor area next to the power button, the laptop will not start

Also when starting up, if I don't keep the power button pressed, it...

replied to BIOS REQUEST HP 430 g3
Hi, thank you very much for sharing this Backup
It has worked perfectly for me

Just one thing, I don't know if it has happened to others who have used it, I was left in Manufacturing Mode and now I am going to use the HP utility to flash the BIOS again, deactivating that mode

Anyway, thank you infinitely, because I was able to recover the laptop....

  • Acer Veriton N4670GT Dead

Hello, I have an Acer veriton n4670GT that, due to a fall to the ground, only started if I did a BIOS reset.
The power button ar ok, and when power off windows, then if press power button, this power on, but goes to boot loop, like press power button forever

It crossed my mind to try a BIOS update and when I finished it turned off and no longer starts in any way.
I have a flash programmer, but the file you download from the Acer website has a .CAP extension, it is not a .BIN

I have programmed it, but it still won't start, it is dead
    Before programming...

  • Bios Moded Acer SF-315-41-R7X9

Hi, I don't know if anyone can help me.

I have an Acer SF315-41-R7X9 laptop, model with AMD Ryzen 5 2500 with the ram soldered on the board, which has a chip failure

I have seen on the forum that experts are capable of modifying the BIOS, so that the integrated RAM remains inactive and only uses the one that is placed in the expansion slot.

I have searched for this model on the forum and have not found any
I don't know if anyone could help me by making the modification, because although I have knowledge, I don't think I'll be able to do it myself,...
