I've got the same board A1286 820-2915 with the same problems on the 38,39 & 40 LVDS pins.
The foil for the pins are blown off the board and require jumpers to diode D9701, problem is, I have the schematic but not the component view file, so I have no idea where diode D9701 is.
If some one could tell me where to jumper to it would be worth 1000 internet points and make me very happy!

The schematic is opening, but I'm not getting the board view to open.
Is it the BRD file? I'm trying to open it with openboardview but it cant.

          Yes it's the .brd file.
I've just tested on a clean Windows 7 laptop and it opens and views fine.

What program are you using to open the BRD file?

I got it to work. Sorry to be such a pest.
I was trying to drag and drop the file into openboardview. When I manually select file open then it works.

Drag&Drop should work fine too. Are you using the latest release of OpenBoardView (check below)?

Trying to open brd file but it returns error saying that is has been copied as ASCII - is it possible to upload it as binary?
Or which board viewer shoudl be used - I've tried with Cadence and it does nto work.
                                    Thank you

                                            Hi everyone,

I have a MacBook Pro A1989 that was likely exposed to liquid. It doesn't display an image on the built-in screen, but the screen is backlit (you can't see the Apple logo or any other elements when held up to light). The laptop provides 20V and 1.5-2A, and it works fine when I use it with an external monitor. Currently, the connector for the display (J8500) is disconnected. I'm writing to ask for help in diagnosing the issue. I've heard that when the J8500 is exposed to liquid, the processor pin responsible for the display might short-circuit, and I'd like to know...

Hi everyone. Just a reminder I am not a professional repair technician, fixing Apple electronics is my hobby.

Recently got my hands on MacBook Pro A2289 with interesting behavior. Pristine condition, no water damage, no visual issues whatsoever. It has no image, no CapsLock, no life except the fan is spinning. But it is able to boot into DFU and recognized by another MacBook. I tried to revive and restore the laptop, but the process ends when the MacBook usually should show an Apple logo with a progress bar. I assume the main power lines and T2 are working. It seems like the Intel...

Greetings to the entire forum, I ask you for help because I'm going crazy. A dear friend of mine gave me a macbook pro M1 A2338 that only works with an external screen. With the internal one, no backlight or image. Only the external display is detected from the system settings.
First I changed the display flat, then I made a backup with time machine and tried a reset in dfu but nothing to do, always the same problem.
