    HP 3520 Printer Service Manual

I couldn't see a forum for Printers so apologies for posting in here (but it is connected to a PC ;-) )

Does anyone know a source for the Service Manual for the HP 3520 printer. It was halfway through printing a page , stopped, then finished printing ok & then said ' Clear Carriage Jam' . problem is there isn't a carriage (or a paper jam even) anywhere in sight. Also i noticed that after it initialises & flashes the error message the head unit parks itself far left of the carriage instead of on the right hand side.

Any ideas anyone or source for a manual ?

    Thanks
    Graham

The carriage is the print heads and the mechanism that holds them that slides up and down. it only needs to be a tiny piece of paper to cause it to jam, or a problem with the ink.
Try the procedures on this page.

Hi Diif, thanks for your reply.
I'm aware what the carriage is & i have cleaned & checked with a light & i can't see anything restricting it or blocking sensors. i have also checked the paper path through the machine & all is clear. I had already followed all the steps on that HP link & still the problem remains so before i striped it down i thought it would be useful to have the service manual to hand.
