    Acer Aspire 7750G - 6650m ATI fail

    Hi,

    i got a 7750G notebook with BSOD atikmpag.sys fail. Notebook has switchable graphics (Intel + AMD) When using only intel all OK, but when i turn on switchable mod in BIOS then on loading "Welcome" in windows i get BSOD.

    I try Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 x64.



    I think this is a hardware fail, but i am not sure if this is fail in VRAM or GPU itself
    ...the quieter you become the more you are able to hear...

      It may be a RAM issue or a power supply-related issue.

          i tested all RAM and they are all OK.

              It is almost always the GPU chip causing this problem. Bad VRAM is extremely rare.

                  Had one HP with same blue screen , also with ATI + intel graphics .

                  Ordered a new ATI chip, and it's working nowadays.
