Hello, I need help with my MacBook Air 820-00165-a.

Hello, I need help with my MacBook Air 820-00165-a.

The fan runs at low speed, so after a while it turns off because it gets too hot.
If I turn it on without the battery, the MacBook doesn't heat up as much.
Another thing is that the MacBook won't restart. When I restart it, the screen turns off, but the fan stays on.
It only turns off if I hold down the Power button.

    Thank you in advance.

Use compressed air to clean out the fan and heatsink areas of all dirt for proper air circulation. Test again. Do not use very high air pressure which can cause damage to the delicate smd parts. A local computer store should offer compressed air cans.

      I've done everything.

      I replaced the battery,
      I replaced the trackpad, keyboard,
      I replaced the MagSafe.

The board is clean, with no liquid residue.

Interestingly, if I remove the battery, the Mac turns on normally. It gets quite hot, but not to the point of shutting down. With the battery back on, it turns on, but after a few seconds, it shuts down. The processor is extremely hot.

Interestingly, the Mac doesn't shut down or restart; it just turns off the screen, but the fan keeps running and the processor cools down.

We too have a similar board in the office that is acting like a mini-furnace / personal heater. So much so that the OS was crashing during installation. It is on a pile of to-do list when we have spare time. The replacement (working) boards are very low cost and popular on Ebay, etc.
