Confirm your meter battery is ok. Most of these measurements are too high. The power adapter should be ~19v.

The dual diode on the vcc pin of the charger IC appears to be defective. On battery only, vcc pin is at 0v.

I'm sorry for my English, I'm writing through a translator. The laptop is charged via TYPE-C, there is no native adapter. I'm checking with a 65W adapter from Huawei. Now I'm going to try changing the battery on the tester and measure the voltage again.

Can you link a schematic (if available)?

The measurements are better but there are still some issues.

Review the VCC pin on the charger IC. There should be a SOT-23 packaged (3 pins) dual diode (common cathode). When you apply only the adapter, VCC is powered OK.

When you apply only the charged battery, VCC = 0 volts. There is something wrong here. Most likely the dual diode is defective and needs to be replaced.

Remove all power. Meter in resistance mode.

Locate the 2 x DCin mosfets that mate with the charger IC and will be before the ACP / ACN pins.

            Measure their resistance as follows:

            source (1-2-3) & drain (5-6-7-8)
            source (1-2-3) & gate (4)
            gate (4) & drain (5-6-7-8)

Post each measurement. Each measurement must be hundreds of k ohms or higher else could be a defective mosfet.

Concerned about the ACDRV voltage which is about the same as the power adapter voltage. Often this means the DCin mosfets are defective. Most likely it will be the first mosfet but do measure the resistance of both mosfets. If the mosfets are NOT defective then ACDRV voltage = adapter voltage + REGN voltage = 20v + 5v = ~25 volts on the gate pin of the DCin mosfets.

You're right, the first mosfet was breached. I replaced the mosfet, everything worked! Thank you very much!!!

Just need a sanity check on this one. I have an Asus G513 ROG lappie here dead as a door knocker. No volts getting past the first FET. Has a BQ24780S charger IC at least, but no schematics or board view.

So ACDET is low at 1.7V, REGEN is also low at 5.4V. On the ACDET pin, there's a few resistors etc and also a SOT323 package marked A7t. Now in my searches this is a BAV99W dual diode. But the datasheet doesn't actually confirm this marking either. I haven't found this diode on any other board either just to compare to. It definitely doesn't meter right, I drew this out, and it seems...
