Which programmer you used? If old bios was working and backed up properly, then i dont see any reason for it not to boot with same bios flashed again.

may be some resistor around bios chip misplaced?

A pic of the bios area will perhaps help.

In the meantime, post a request in "Bios Section" for new cleaan me bios while posting your original bios backup.

You mean it goes upto 0.44A and then drops to 0.1A or 0.01A?(0.1A-100mA and 0.01A-10mA) Please clarify.

Measure voltage on all coils for the brief time it turns on. may take multiple attempt to measure all coils.

Measure Resistance to GND on all coils without any power source attached.

PS:The bios are seems perfect without any damage.

I have solved the power problem, the computer is on but does not recognize the touchpad, is it possible that the bios is faulty?
Can you help me clear the bios?

Help with BIOS update on Dell G15 5515 after chip replacement
            by capoplays
            Hey everyone,

I recently bought a Dell G15 5515 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and 3060 RTX. The BIOS chip on it was dead, and my hardware guy replaced the chip. After that, everything was working fine.

The BIOS is currently at version 1.22.1, and I wanted to update it. I downloaded the latest BIOS version from Dell Support using my ST: FQZMYJ3, but when I tried to run it, it says "unsupported system." I asked my tech guy what he did, and he said he took the chip from another board and flashed it onto mine.

When I check the BIOS using the F12 menu Flash...

Dell Latitude 5431 issues with dumping bios
            by Sathsul
So, i kinda spend significant ammount of the last couple of days trying to flash a new bios, and or unlocking the current bios password with little to no results.
The whole thing started with it being the 8fc8 bios, i found the tools to unlock that but i needed a bios dump. So i pursued that, im at a point where i dessoudered the chip, and succesfully soudered it to the ch341, dumped whatever was on it.
However, the tools supposed to unlock the 8fc8 say that there is no 8fc8 hex inside. And when i followed diffrent tutorials to just flash a new bios onto the chip i got stuck on the...

This motherboard has 2 similar chips. One is on the front marked with BIOS SKT "Winbond 25Q256JVEN" and one on the back marked with U351 "Gigadevice 25B256EYIG". I ignored the one on the back and only desoldered front chip. Made a backup, made sure the reading was the same with another 3 backups.

Dell Optiplex 7010 micro bad BIOS flash?
            by mrrubik
            Hi folks,

I got a Dell Optiplex 7010 micro PC (Exact Model) with 8FC8 BIOS and locked out admin password. I attempted to remove the password by patching the BIOS via info from this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ssword-patcher
After flashing the patched the BIOS, the PC is unresponsive with a solid AMBER power LED (not documented in manual anywhere)

            Steps I took:
            1. Read BIOS with CH341a, verified hash twice
            2. Patched
