    A1707 - No internal display

    I got two Macbook's Pro 15" A1707 both fully working except no image on internal LCD.

    I've checked and it looks like it's problem with U9850 (on both pin 1 on screen connector is 0.007 or 0.050 in diode mode)

    My question is if this IC can be ordered from Aliexpress (will it work) ?? or it needs to be taken directly from donor (a1707, a1990, a2141) ?

    Is this IC interchangeable (on my board i have 6142E and i found that there can be also HD3SS212) are this chips same ? ? Is it possible to find this IC on some other Macbook 13" (air, pro) ?? i have lot donors but all are 13,3" or never M1, M2 16"

      Hi all.
      I have an asus F505DV that has a smashed screen, broken hinges, bezel and top cover.
      The customer cannot afford to repair it, so they wanted me to remove the top of the unit and will just use the base as a desktop and plug into a monitor via HDMI.

      However, for some reason, with this model, it REFUSES to display on the external monitor unless there is also an internal LCD.
      If there is a internal screen, then the external displays fine.

      This is running the latest BIOS.

      I have set the display properties in windows 10 using...

      Hello there,
      I have a SF314-41 motherboard that i bought impulsively recently, the problem is that i only bought the motherboard only, nothing else. When i tried powering on the board with 19V (soldered on the DC IN port), and then shorting the pin 1-2 of the keyboard, the board is turning on (as indicated by the fan), however it seems like the board is displaying on the internal display as connecting to a display on the HDMI (external) does not display anything.

      Hi! I have a Razer Blade 15 2022, with a RTX 3060.

      One day, while using Linux, the internal display suddenly stopped working.

      On Windows, it says that the internal GPU has stopped working (with error code 43).

      I have tried removing the coin cell and the battery, and replacing the RAM, with no success on fixing anything.

      Hello again,

      I am once again working on this same laptop that I was working on in this thread. I was able to fix all of the problems that it had, but now it has one final problem. The computer will turn on and work completely fine until you shut it down. Once the computer has been shut down, it will not turn on again, nor will it show charging LED until the internal battery is disconnected and then reconnected. Once the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, the computer will then power on and charge normally and everything is fine again until the next shut down where you...
