I have this dell inspiron which can work very well on battery but cant work on charger, when I plug the charger It will restart can anyone help me fixed it.

Could be the charger is the problem, check the output voltage of the charger if its stable?

Yes the charger is ok and cam work on other machines .......

Is the charger original? Try to run it without a Hdd, wifi and odd then go to bios setting. Use charger only. observe for 10 minutes.

change processor and four 220uF caps by 4 330uF .

repair two last week with the same fault . saw that processor voltage fluctuate . i decided to replace the old 1,6Ghz/2/800 by a 2.0Ghz/2/800Mhz and the four 220 caps around .

agreed to dycc, caps helps to smooth the flow of the current to have steady dc voltage.
