    Thinkpad e15 FE4A0/FE5A0/ dead

Hi at all. My thinkpad is dead yesterday.
After open the bottom board, i see PQ1101 go to burn after powerup.
Probably is shorted? On the schematic is a n channel mosfet, marked as AONR32340C.

Replace both PQ1101/1102 along with pwm controller associated with these mosfets at one go.Else the new mosfet may get shorted again
.After removing the controller ic plus both high/low side fets, measure resistance to GND on the coil to be sure its not shorted.

            Thanks mcpl.

The mosfet driver, is marked CG9. What did mean?
I'm unable to find the datasheet.

            Thanks,

            Maurizio

Hi at all, i replaced all the mosfet and the driver, but before power-up i note, have missed (sadly with hot air) this little capacitor marked in orange.
What type of value have this capacitor? Before power up i wanna to install it.

                    Sorry, which capacitor?

The part in the square is PQ1101 = mosfet.

                    Is that part missing?

Sadly i don't find the pcb layout, it's on the net but i can't find.

                        Thanks,

                        Maurizio.

Probably mates with the nearby MOSFET. Use the meter in resistance mode to confirm which pins and share the details.

Any continuity with the DC/DC converter with the mosfet.
I give up, without the component layout i'm lost.

                              Sorry again

                              Maurizio.

Ok i find the component i lost, it's not a capacitor, is PT0008 (prf15bb541nb6rc) a NTC thermistor, 640 ohm made by murata.

I hope to find it a replacement.

I find this murata ptc are 540 ohm not 640. But is impossible to find an equivalent.
                                  How substitute this?

                                  Thanks so much again,
