Hi sorry not replied for a while ive been a bit busy I managed to get the mb with no backlight to work by running seperate wires from mb to inverter and I thought great... but then the 19v wire and the second wire next to it touched and then the laptop turned off and since then seems dead no light not even on the charger jack do these have fuses on the mb or is it time to get rid of both boards?Comment

Hello everyone, I bought a Microsoft Surface Pro 5 and the touch doesn't work. According to what the previous owner said, the screen stopped working after an update. The screen has no physical damage, and the touch works for 1 second when it turns on and then stops working. I've tried updating the drivers, formatting, and returning to factory defaults, but nothing worked. Can you help me? -

Hi.
I have 2 Lenovo laptops (A485 and T480) with identical USB problem.
When I plug in a USB 3.x device (USB storage), the USB ports are working normal.
But as soon I plug in USB 2.0 device (mouse, USB storage), all the USB ports stop working. Even if I plug in USB 3.x device.
The only way to get USB working again is disconnect battery and reset BIOS.
Has anyone had anything similar?
I have not yet tried another BIOS, but would that be the problem with USB?
