Good morning. Id like to get someone elses input on what I am thinking could be going on with this phone. I have an iphone 11 Pro that does not boot, tried new batteries and all that. Connected to a PSU, it acts like the power button is not being pressed, when pressed does very little current (0.006ma). I checked diode readings on PP_VDD_MAIN which is ok (0.364), on PP_VDD_BOOST which was ok (0.387) and then PP1V8_ALWAYS which should be Open if im not mistaken but i get a diode reading of (0.510). I am guessing my problem lies here.. PP1V8_ALWAYS goes back to the PMU after passing through a capacitor. Would it be safe to assume the issue is on PMU? Really Im trying to see if others agree or if theres something I should try before going through all the work of a PMU replacement

by AndreasbestHello.
I received a bios locked 7410 with 25Q256JVEQ ,i dump the bios, unlocked it and flash it back, since then the laptop has no life signs at all except amber led on for as long the power button is pressed, nothing else.
Fact #1 i was unaware that 25Q256JVEQ is 3.3v and i used a 5v CH341A to program it, not sure if the chip got damaged but since then i can read it and write it normally, doesn't seem dead.
Fact #2 i modded the CH341A to 3.3v, same results with programming though, nothing changed.
Fact #3 i tried hard reset with cmos/main battery disconnected and power... -
by AJ847.63eHi All,
Has anyone tried to use a XS screen on a iphone X before? I've got a old dead iPhone XS which I was hoping to use the screen on my iphone X as the glass on it has cracked. According to google the connectors are the same but some screw holes don't line up, but I'm assuming that doesn't matter as I can use some double-sided adhesive instead. Better than spending 280 bucks on a new screen when I already have a perfectly good OEM XS one.07-31-2023, 10:31 PM -
