    Helios 300 2019 (PH315-52) Need help fixing laptop GPU

    I have Helios 300 2019 (PH315-52)
    i7-9750H CPU
    1660ti GPU
    32GB Ram

    Couple of days ago i corrupted my laptop bios.
    Today i fixed that using CH341a Programmer
    But my Nvidia GPU is not working anymore

    I might have damaged the winbond chip containing the gpu data while trying to desolder it (thought that it was the bios chip)

    I do not have much experience with hardware repairs.

    Well, clean the poor thing first with isopropyl alcohol .. Is all of that white stuff from the thermal pads near it ?

        Regardless, use IPA and a cotton swab to clean this up. You should be able to see between the legs of this IC. The substance may be conductive.

          it tried to clean it. this is the best i could do. still same error 43 and error 10

            I think that you are missing some parts on pin #8 of this flash IC. Suspecting the flash is not being powered.

            Carefully, measure the voltage to ground of each pin on this flash ic. Post each measurement.

            Also, see a shiny reflection between pins 7 and 8. Flux and use desolder braid to clean that up. Not sure if there is an intentional short between pins 7 and 8. Will check the datasheet in a few.
