Remove all power. No battery as well.
Meter in diode mode. Red meter probe on the pin #3 of the dual diode @ PQB01. Black meter probe on pin # 1 of this diode. The meter should conduct. What is the voltage (in diode mode)?
Now reverse the meter leads with black on pin # 3; red on pin # 1. Meter should block. Confirm this.
Then perform the same test using pins # 2 and pin # 1. We are checking if this dual diode is leaky. If yes, this dual diode must be replaced. We cannot have the battery voltage feeding back onto the adapter voltage and vice-versa. Respectively, the battery voltage on its own should be able to power the board but it could be that the battery voltage is too low.
