Auto shutdown by the supervisor IC because of an under voltage condition with 12V output rail (dropped to 10.5V)
The same rail also does this when the PSU is in standby mode.

The leakage keeps climbing at a steady rate but slowing down when it reaches over 800mV or so. I didn't measure exactly at what value it stopped or if it's even stopped at all.
What could have caused that?
First time I have seen such behavior.
3.3V and 5V rails don't have the same... -
Hello everyone,
I have an issue with my HP PAVILION 11-n000nf laptop. When it goes into deep sleep mode, it doesn't restart properly. The fan comes back on, power consumption is around 250 mA, but the screen remains black, and the Caps Lock key blinks. To resolve this problem, I have to disconnect the battery to shut it down. However, afterward, it doesn't restart normally. When I press the power button, it goes back to the same state as before. To get it back to working condition, I need to disconnect the CMOS battery and reset the BIOS. Of course, I know that if I prevent the... -
by DynaxSCHi,
I have this board, where I have exchanged the LGA1151 socket. During testing I discovered, that the large PCIEX16 slot won't by no force work in x16 mode, but keeps to work in x8 mode only.
I tested this with GPU-Z, also with Render Test (but tried also Furmark and Heaven Benchmark - no effect).
Tested on Core i5-9600K as well as on an Pentium G5420 and MSI NVIDIA GTX1070 and 2 other cards, including RTX3060Ti.
Board architecture definitely allows x16 mode, as all 16 PCIe lanes are present between CPU and main GPU slot (nearest to CPU).

by lego1234567Hi. I have the following problem with my TV. After connecting to mains, the standby led (red) turns on, but TV is not responding to remote control or buttons on TV. After some measurements, I found out that +5 V standby voltage is present, but I dont have ON/OFF signal coming in to turn PSU on. It stays at zero volts. After looking at the schematic of the mainboard, I should get ON/OFF signal coming in at the R1402 resistor, but it stays around +3,5 V. So I removed it and I was able to turn on TV with buttons on TV, but not with remote control.
What could be the problem ? Thanks...2 Photos01-21-2024, 03:39 AM -

Symptoms:
The TV turned itself off, and I haven't been able to turn it back on. The standby voltage was unstable and lower than it should be.
A weak clicking sound was coming from the transformer.

Progress:
After the transformer, I measured four Schottky diodes. DM862C and DM864C diodes readings were 003 in both directions. After detaching them from the circuit and measuring them, DM864C was the shorted one. These Schottky diodes are SB550.I... - Loading...
