Sleep mode on HP PAVILION 11-n000nf laptop

    Hello everyone,

I have an issue with my HP PAVILION 11-n000nf laptop. When it goes into deep sleep mode, it doesn't restart properly. The fan comes back on, power consumption is around 250 mA, but the screen remains black, and the Caps Lock key blinks. To resolve this problem, I have to disconnect the battery to shut it down. However, afterward, it doesn't restart normally. When I press the power button, it goes back to the same state as before. To get it back to working condition, I need to disconnect the CMOS battery and reset the BIOS. Of course, I know that if I prevent the computer from going into sleep mode in Windows, it solves the issue. But I'm looking for a more satisfactory solution. Any ideas?

    Check RTC circuit thoroughly.

Do you think it's the CMOS battery? Its voltage is normal (3.14 volts), and I don't have any issues with the time or date. What else should I check?

RTC circuit is not about cmos battery alone. You need to check RTCRST#/SRTCRST#/INTRUDER etc. Since it works only after a cmos reset,i doubt something is wrong in RTC circuit.
